Turning ordinary into the extraordinary.
June 8 – 10th 2014
Gold Coast, Queensland
It feels like only yesterday we wrapped up the 2013 AIPP Nikon Event, an adventure which took us into the whimsical dreams of Jennifer Hudson, through wretched seas with Richard Bennett, and through the actual sea to the world renowned MONA gallery with all its glory on display, the perfect backdrop for a welcome party for over 300 photographers Australia wide.
For 2014, we agreed to have the running theme of ‘Turning the ordinary into the Extraordinary’. All speakers will share their wealth of knowledge into how to create extraordinary imagery across various genres and mediums as they do in their everyday practice.
We are in the process of finalising our speakers, and will be sure to update this space as soon as we have confirmed with them.
Like previous years, each day will kick off in the main plenary and then set out into breakout sessions and smaller workshops in nearby locations.
The conference will be held at the RACV Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast. Situated midway between the golden beaches, shopping and nightlight of Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach, and the lush rainforests of the Gold Coast hinterland.
The RACV Royal Pines Resort will be packed to the rafters with photographers alike, so be sure to book in your accommodation early. Dining & bars, day spa, golf & various recreation activities are available for those who are that way inclined (if you can find a spare minute during the conference and in-between social events, let us know how you did it).
